Wale released the new video for his next single Pretty Girls on 106 & Park today. From what I hear, the video is stirring up a lot of controversy because it doesn’t showcase any dark skinned women. Honestly, I don’t think that was Wale’s call, especially considering he’s flat out reps for Nigeria, dark skin and DC every chance he gets. But you check the video and peep for yourself.
Looky looky what I found. Everyone is quick to crucify the man. I’m sure it’s more of a label thing than his thing. They are about the numbers, and guess which video/song is going to blow up… the music that makes it is a matter of the consumer, and if consumers are ignorant then… well…. I think Wale is a great rapper and seems like a cool dude. Hopefully we can get him on the site soon.

Both wale songs are hot. I personally would have like to see a more diverse group of women for the “pretty girls” video.
